This year’s IKEM Academy, ‘Climate change at a cross­roads – oppor­tu­nities and challenges for a global green recovery’, will be held online from 27–29 July 2021. The three-day multi­dis­ci­plinary forum features inter­active seminars led by renowned experts.

In a year of unprece­dented events and compounding crises, we need a global plan for recovery. IKEM Academy 2021 will take stock of the current economic outlook and reimagine a cleaner and more resilient future that brings us closer to our climate goals and addresses rising inequalities.

Together we will examine global approaches to a Green New Deal, policy lessons, finance mecha­nisms and techno­logical innova­tions, and envision pathways to sustain­ability for cities and rural areas as well as the management of biodi­versity in forests and seas.
